NHL team, Tampa Bay Lightning was defeated by the Carolina Hurricanes 6-0 following Victor Hedman injury after getting hit by Andrei Svechnikov.
Victor Erik Olof Hedman is his full name, and was born on 18 December 1990 in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.
He is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL).
In the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, the Lightning selected him second overall.
Hedman is widely regarded as one of the top defensemen in the NHL, and he is also a five-time James Norris Memorial Trophy finalist who won the award in 2018.
The Lightning star Hedman helped the Lightning win back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and 2021, as well as the Conn Smythe Award as the most valuable player in the 2020 playoffs.
Victor Hedman began his hockey career in the Swedish Hockey League with his hometown team, Modo Hockey (SHL).

Tampa Bay Lightning Victor Hedman Injury Update
As mentioned above, he got injured after getting hit by Svechnikov. The All-Star, the future hall-fame defenseman, was lying on the ice grabbing his back.
Hedman did return for an 11-second shift after spending 10 minutes in the locker room.
After a delay in play, he could be seen shaking his head at the bench before returning to the locker room for the rest of the night.
