Malik Monk Religion is yet to be known by his fans. He is a famous American basketball player. 

Malik Monk plays basketball professionally for the NBA. He was born on February 4, 1998, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Malik was selected by the Charlotte Hornets in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft after playing college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Monk is a shooting guard who excels at accumulating large numbers of points.

He is a proficient three-point shooter and possesses a rapid jump shot release. He is a good ball handler and can also make his shot off the dribble.

Monk struggled with consistency and saw little playing time in his early years in the NBA.

Monk was an East Poinsett County High School freshman in Lepanto, Arkansas. As a rookie, he averaged 22.8 points per game while leading his team to a record overall and one participation in the Class 2A state title game.

After his first year, Monk switched to Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas. As a junior, he averaged 26.6 points per game.

Throughout the 2015 spring and summer, Monk averaged 19.7 points per game with the Arkansas Wings Elite, an AAU team competing on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball Circuit (EYBL).

Malik Monk was born to Mr. Michael Scales and Mrs. Jacaynlene “Jackie” Monk in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on February 4, 1998.

Monk belongs to the Afro-Amerian race. On the other side, his parents divorced when he was a child due to incompatibility.

Once his parents got split, Monk was raised by his lone mother. In Lepanto, Arkansas, at East Poinsett County High School, his mother also attended.

She resides in Bentonville, the ninth-largest city in Arkansas. On the other hand, Marked Tree High School in Arkansas is where Malik’s Father attended.

He adores fishing and works as a self-employed fisherman during the summer. He is presently a resident of Poinsett County’s Trumann.

Malik Monk has a brother in his family and his parents. The older brother of Monk, Marcus Monk, was a basketball and wide receiver in his playing career.

 Before being selected in the 2008 NFL Draft, Marcus played football throughout high school and college.

He failed to go past the practice squads, though. Marcus is said to have had a significant impact on Malik’s life.

Thanks to Marcus, Malik first became interested in sports and began to take basketball seriously. To be honest, this is quite an excellent tale of brothers.

He played for the New York Giants and the Chicago Bears during his playing career. He is the CEO of the sports consulting Monk Promotional Management Group.

Malik graduated from East Poinsett County High School with a 4.0-grade point average. Throughout his time in high school, he earned letters in both basketball and football.

The University of Arkansas offered Malik a sports scholarship, which allowed him to enroll there.

He played football for the Razorbacks of Arkansas. He received the NFL’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 2004.
