On Haley Jones on the “Sometimes I Hoop” podcast Clark said she made her name for herself on the national stage in her first season with Hawkeyes.
By the end of Clark’s second year, she felt the effects of the opposition’s desperate efforts to slow her down.
Then she realized people were physical with her. She decided she wanted to get stronger and asked Alexander for assistance.
Lowa’s associate strength and conditioning coach Lindsay Alexander told Insider ‘she’s not a one-of-a-kind person in the weight room, but her physical development could be improved.’
Caitlin did a full summer of training in 2022 and improved throughout the year, but this is where she really took the biggest leap since she could dedicate the entire training summer.
Moreover, she took the weight room super seriously and bought into the mission.
